There are hungry children and adults right here in Muhlenberg County. We don’t like to think about it, but it is true. You can help! Every time you go to the grocery pick up an extra nonperishable food item and place it in the buggy by the pool table in the MMC lobby labeled “First Fruits,” we cannot accept home canned items. Hopefully your contribution will keep a Muhlenberg County child from going to bed hungry. Let it become a habit with every grocery visit to thank God for the ability to feed your family and help another family. Thank you for showing God’s love in a very real way to those less fortunate. We are in need of the following items: peanut butter, crackers, cereal, spaghetti sauce, pasta, soup, chili, beef stew and canned chicken and tuna. We will accept any canned foods.
